Q. How can I deposit funds, and what payment methods do you accept?
A. For initial and subsequent account deposits, GFT Futures accepts wire transfers and paper checks. Please visit http://www.gftfutures.com/helpcenter/deposits for complete deposit instructions. Please note: Wire transfers are the only accepted form of deposit for margin calls.

Q. What is the minimum/maximum deposit limit?
A. The minimum initial account opening deposit is $2,500. There is no minimum deposit to an existing account. There are no maximum deposit limits for any accounts.

Q. How long before my paper check deposit will be posted to my GFT Futures account?
A. Paper checks must be routed to our Customer Segregated Funds account. Due to the special nature of this account, it may take up to 30 days for your check to clear. If you can provide us with a bank statement showing that your check has cleared prior to 30 days, we will gladly post your deposit that day. Wire transfer is the quickest way to transfer funds to your trading account.

Q. I made a wire deposit to my GFT Futures account, but I do not see it reflected in my balance.
A. GFT Futures posts wire transfers within four hours of receipt at our bank; the amount of transfer time from your bank to ours may vary. If you initiated your wire transfer more than 24 hours ago, please contact us at futuresacct@gftforex.com or call 616.974.0135. We will need your name, futures account number, date of the transfer, the account number the funds were transferred to, and if possible and applicable, a copy of the Swift transfer.

Q. How will I receive my account statements?
A. Your account statements will be delivered to the e-mail address you provided during the account application process. You may opt-out of electronic statement delivery for a fee of $10 per paper statement. You will then receive your statements via U.S. mail. Q. How often will I receive an account statement?
A. Account statements will be delivered daily to active accounts and monthly to all accounts.

Q. Can I transfer funds between two GFT accounts?
A. One transfer between two futures accounts (or one futures account and one forex account) will be executed per calendar month for no charge. Subsequent transfers within the same calendar month will be executed for a $10 fee. Please complete our online transfer form at http://www.gftfutures.com/helpcenter/funds-transfer.asp. Transfers between GFT accounts will be posted within 24 hours.

Q. How do I withdraw funds from my account?
A. Please complete our Online Funds Request form at http://www.gftfutures.com/helpcenter/funds-request.asp. If you have sufficient equity in your account, your request will be processed within one to two business days.

Q. How do I close my GFT Futures account?

Q. What is GFT Futures’ margin call process?
A. Your account will be issued an electronic margin call to the e-mail address you provided during the account application process when either:
1. Your account does not have sufficient equity to meet the IMR at the close of the first day of the trade -OR- 2. Your account does not have sufficient equity to meet the MMR at any time past the first day of the trade
IMR = Initial Margin Requirement = Amount of margin required in your account to enter a trade; also, the margin required in your account at the close of the first day of the trade MMR = Maintenance Margin Requirement = Amount of margin required in your account to maintain a trade at any time past the first day of the trade You will not receive a physical phone call when your account is on margin call. You will only receive an electronic margin call to the e-mail address you provided during the account application process.

Q. I didn’t receive my electronic margin call notification in my e-mail inbox. Why is this?
A. The notification may have been routed to your junk or spam folder. Please ensure that your spam filter is set up to unblock margins@gftfutures.com in order to ensure timely delivery of all electronic margin notifications.

Q. I was notified that my account is on margin call. What do I need to do?
A. You must immediately deposit funds into your account to bring your equity balance up to the IMR (not the MMR). Wire transfers are the only accepted form of deposit for margin calls. As we can only allow you to trade with cleared funds in your account, any funds in transit or promised funds will not be credited to your account until they are received by us and cleared. If you do not immediately send the required margin, we may, at our discretion, place liquidation orders to close your open positions.
